C63s coupe missing control arm?!? Need help asap

Hey guys! I need some help with my rear suspension parts as i’m not familiar with any if the suspension parts. But from the pics I think i’m missing both rear control arm and control arm covering. Am I correct? Or is the spring link the same as the control arm? I’m definitely missing a cover and something else.

Yep, at last compared to my 2019 you are missing a cover or two.

please excuse my lack of knowledge about this but is there a control arm that goes on the spring link and then a cover that goes on the control arm?

What are you calling spring link? You have your lower control arm and everything. The thing that the spring attaches to, but from the looks of it, there's a cover that goes on the base of the spring where it's attached to the lower control control arm, and then the whole control arm is supposed to have a cover.

Maybe this is clearer. You are missing the two pieces with the red arrows as far as I can tell.

Or on second look, your spring is not correctly attached to the lower control arm. Looks like that piece at the bottom of the spring is twisted the wrong way in your picture.

Not sure if this helps. Tried to crawl under there and take a pic of where the springs meets the control arm. There's definitely something not right in your case.

I guess that explains my alignment issues and off centered steering

Or this part got simply redesigned for the FL. What year is yours? Mine is a FL 2019 with revised suspension. Looking at your last set of pictures, it looks like that's how it's supposed to be. Seems to fit properly in the control arm. The FL has different springs, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of it is slightly different as well. To be sure, you should compare it to one of the same model year as yours.

No, that spring is definitely not seated correctly. Yes, I think it could explain those symptoms.

Well there are 18 different spring configurations, so I cant confidently say that yours is seated improperly, but you are definitely missing a lower control arm cover. The covers for the track bar were eliminated I believe...

Yes, your spring is not seated. Just tell them "mate, the spring is not seated properly in the rear" and show them this topic.
I hope they fix it up for you quickly then you can get a nice alignment done and you'll be ready to roll again

Not sure if it matters, but mine is def different (MY2016 - c63s) and I am sure you expected this, but just wanted to show the differences..
