Did Ask Carbon aka "Beast" sell me a replica steering wheel advertised as OEM?

x2 never buy anything from an Instagram seller, with eBay, Amazon, etc.... you have a good chance of getting a full refund even if the vendor doesn't agree. On another thread "beast" pretends to be a customer of "askcarbon", and keeps on free advertising his Instagram page.
Why doesn't he just come out and say he is askcarbon. Im new to this forum but on the bimmer forums when someone is advertising/selling their products they have to become an official vendor, pay fees. The restocking fee is ridiculous, but he sells off of Instagram he can make his own rules since he has no one to answer to. Live and learn...

That is exactly the case. He had a budget, and I created a bespoke wheel to match his budget with the constraints I was given.
Before even talking about a refund/return I was ready to send him a BRAND new set of buttons, and a BRAND new backing trim NO QUESTIONS asked. He wanted a FULL refund on the alcantara airbag cover, I sent that back NO QUESTIONS asked. I DO care about the post-purchase experience, which is why I offered this to him. He did not want to cooperate, his only response was to either give him a 100% Refund , or he threatening to post this here. He left out major details out if his original post which is why I called it slander. If you want to post a fair business review you better include ALL the details. Not just the ones that you think make you look better.
I sent him a photo of the wheel before shipping, is he had any issues he should have asked me before i shipped it.
The return offer is still on the table.

OP: send his stuff back to him and move on. Take this as a lesson learned, as others should also.

My parts are far from inferior. Yes it had a defect and I was ready to replace it. That is called good business practice.
