That blue is a beautiful color. Almost bought a sedan in this color off the lot. Glad I didn’t because I didn’t realize the differences between coupe and sedan was more than just number of doors. Unlike M3/M4 which are setup exactly the same way. Nevertheless it was a beautiful color in person.
cheaper maintenance, cheaper overall cost, cheaper insurance & you get more car. I would have loved to get a couple but can’t afford it & would rather get more car for less.

Guys the main difference between the coupe and the sedan is the 2 extra doors.
The coupe is damn tempting to get with everything mention in this thread, but the 2 doors and seats in the sedan you can share the car with family.
If i didn't have my little one i would buy the coupe for sure.

When I owned an E92 M3, I still remember this confused look from new parents in a parking lot who had a large crossover for just 1 infant. They watched me pull 2 kids out of my car, 1 in rear facing and 1 front facing.

I have yet to see the blue up close & in person. The only time I have seen it was passing one on the highway for a split second. I’m sure I’ll be amazed once I finally get up close to it! I went with the sedan for multiple reasons,

Update lol so car still is not here yet, dealer is saying 29th of December.... about to be going into the 8th month of waiting since placing the order. The ship it is supposedly headed towards Germany and supposed to be in Brunswick, GA in 3 weeks. I already anticipate this probably dragging into mid to late jan or early feb. The wait continues, as of now I have been able to search info on the car online & get insurance quotes & check the build of the vehicle to confirm its what I ordered and its been completed.

If you really want to drive yourself nuts, find out what ship its on, and track it... (like https://www.myshiptracking.com/vesse...00-imo-9267675 )
the only other ship I know is called “paradise ace” and it just left Baltimore. It had the same route as the paradise ace starting in east London and going up to Europe.
I don’t think I’ll get mine until late Jan or feb. I’ve been waiting since April smh. I thought the ship would just come straight to the US didn’t think about the logical side of freight liners.

at the end of the day, its going to get here when the ship gets here... they have all sorts of logistics, and even with Covid, delays, etc etc etc.. just hang in, and you will have it soon enough.

i agree tho at this point she’ll come one of these days. I’ve accepted the lies from my dealer & also acknowledged the issues covid had caused. It just hurts when my dealer can’t be upfront & transparent but I guess that’s what we pay for haha

Not anymore. Sedan production was moved to South Africa. They were already making sedans there for other markets. Alabama is now exclusively making the SUVs and Crossovers. GLC production will most likely move to Alabama sooner or later and join the GLE and GLS production there.

I'm not entirely sure which European markets are served by South Africa. I thought that some sedans are also built in Bremen, Germany along with the coupes, verts and wagons, but maybe they moved the entire sedan production to South Africa now.

All C class sedans are made in SA, even the AMG. Coupes and Cabs are made in Germany. I personally am glad the C classes are not made in Alabama, the production quality is not as good compared to other countries. Thats why many of the early c class models had poor build quality & issues earlier on for the w205 model cycle. No offense to anyone in Alabama or America but the people here don't care and its kinda expected especially from this region and being in Alabama. I live in Atlanta, GA

There's a Facelift black C63s Coupe that I keep seeing in my area, I wonder if he's on this forum. We should do a meet and maybe mountain drive with few of the C63 owners.
