How do i go about reseting this? I did an oil change by myself over the weekend did the oil reset procedure, but this popped up 🤔🤔🤔


And when i try fo perform the procedure again i get this. Whats the problem?

 

Mine did something like that once, and xentry couldn't even reset it.. I had to take it in , and they had to do some weird a$$ crap with Germany and reload my whole dash software.. was weird
But if you went thru the complete process of performing the service and cleared it out, then next step is with the Xentry, then possibly dealer :-(

 

It doesn't bother me that much ,but it sucks having that message pop up everytime i start the car. I love my c63s but little things like this are going to make me think twice before getting another benz.

Disconnecting the battery for an hour or 2 will help?

 

I dont think its a MB thing per say, it has to do with the actual servicing, when you just do an oil change, depending on which SERVICE option you selected for it to clear, etc.
I do know that there was a cluster software update, and that is what mine got.

Even with the Ferraris, etc I have had, those had glitches, and when they had them, it was way worse.. so all in all, I love my AMG's and wouldnt change them for anything...

NO COMMENT on the battery disconnect.. (never tried that, nor thought of it)

 

How much would going to the dealer part cost? I'm out of warranty with dp's and stage 2.

 

What year is your car ?

mine is still under warranty ( 2016 C63 S ) so they just did it

 

mine is also a 2016 but the warranty expired in early march if i remember right. I might do my next. Oil change at MB and let them worry about it. I do my changes every 4 - 5k miles.
