NO , you need to leave the sensor connected and just quicktie the loop to the harness or whatever, but if you disconnect the sensor you will get cel’s etc
the ZAC one don't have the option to "recirculate" the air back into the intakes. Not a bad thing though as you get the BOV noise then and to be honest, why blow hot recirculated air back into the turbos... Also, FYI, ZAC intakes do not fit 110% so you will need to make mods to your engine bay and be comfortable with them pressing up under the bonnet. I have numerous chat with Greg from ZAC about this and he gets all defensive and essentially will put the ball back in your court saying they do fit and he has loads of reviews blah blah blah but I know many people who aren't happy with the ZAC ones due to the fitment. They need refining in terms of size and then would be an esy fit...
Personally I love the engine bay look in stock form. With the name plate and the two trim pieces with the AMG logo on them.
I wish there was an cold air intake that could keep the that look and adds the performance benefit.

Eventuri C63 Intake
The Eventuri intake is the best looking one, but at nearly $3,000 it's a stupid amount of money for an intake.

Placed my order for the modalworks intake and turbo blanket combo today.
they had texted me a promotional combo price.
Still on the fence about the blanket. There remain what imo are valid and rational concerns about it directing to much heat into the heads/engine bc it doesn't fully wrap the entire turbo, but rather lays over top, literally like a blanket.
I "want" it to work, and believe that it does keep the engine bay temps cooler. But I do worry about the risk of cooking the block to much.
But I digress... Looking forward to the intake for sure!

That's kind of why I'm not certain I will use it. Bc there is the theoretical overheating of the heads/block, while (from your experience) not noticing a discernable improvement of any kind.
