C63 W205 17' + W205 C250@brabus + NSX 95'

C63 W205 service wont reset

Hello, I ve been using this procedure before.

Resetting Via service menu. But now it wont work. It says operation cannot be done.

Anyone had similar problem?

I have run into this with a 17 C43 that had never been dealer serviced and was 40,000miles past several service A/B resets. Even with a scan tool the reset procedure was not straight forward and took several tries to get it through.

It's difficult to explain, but i have noticed on several newer cars including Mercedes, for a reset to happen there are other conditions (such as no error codes in certain modules) that need to be met. As well for a reset to take, it also rrquires resetting sub items, like Oil condition and brake fluid first.

I just had a bmw that would not reset brake wear because the abs module had an error in it.(unrelated to brake pad wear)

This probably won't help most of you very much, short of saving you a bunch of frustration wondering why it won't work.
