Here is a video on how easy it is to flash the car. Mind you I had to re upload file to server because he sent me the file to my email. All in it takes exactly 2 min to flash the car and can write a complete firmware if needed with his software he developed.

No he sends you a special dongle

You don't need xentry but nice to have all you need is a laptop!

Just imagine how easy it is to tune on dyno! He sends you 3 files and it literally takes 2 min per file to blast and you don't need to spend 20 min with a handheld and car battery charger.

Also dosnt clear ecu so your car will keep all adaptions and fuel trims so you can load and dyno on the fly etc.

Which laptop do you have for xentry? Where do you recommend buying it?

Would love to do something like that, congrats! Do you plan on running WMI in those ports provided? Where did you source the PTG turbos from? Thanks.

What fuel do you have where you live, and are you tuned for a specific octane with bus tune?

I'm almost tempted to give the tune a try come summer just for thst firmware update alone. Mine is fully updated and has very little burble compared to other stock car local cars that are fully updated but on (I presume) another firmware. I was told there is something like 17 iterations for my year and that some will have less stock pops/bangs than others. I don't want a burble tune though, the amount you're likely talking and that I've heard on other cars about would be perfect for me.

I'm on 93oct here and will get my emissions recal done then flash back my old firmware.

To flash firmware i believe you need xentry setup but not sure yet as I didn't need to change mine. We looked at it with zentry and I had the best firmware on my car.

Damn, that's something I've really wanted to change. I was also kind of hoping your great review happened to be on 91 as that's all we have here. Although I'm sure the diffence in a 91 tune is only a couple degrees less tuning. I'm not unhappy with my current tune but I'm certainly curious about trying others, especially wiry such a positive review of performance/experience.

Ya catless downpipes. Did your tune have burble in it? I was reading through the tuners posts and it sounds like he's against artificially adding them through a tune so I assumed he didn't even offer it. With my firmware and asking dme to give a non burble tune I have barely any. One big bang on downshifta, sometimes two. Barely any crackle when I rev it. I don't want all that over run crap on decel, would just like a bite more sound on down shifts and revs. Some stock cars with particular firmwares have way more drama than one.

Yea my car has that firmware and even with stock downpipes there is a lot of pops and bangs and loud ones on decel. I will see how crazy it gets with downpipes and might swap firmware after.

Its pretty wild how these are from the actual firmware and not so much in the tune

Car is going in next wed for emissions recal so will see how it sounds after.

Dp's won't create more like some people think but they'll certainly be louder. I've been chatting with him back and forth and this guy really knows his stuff and has been really helpful. I think I'm going to switch firmware to the one he likes to use and have him tune the car as well, maybe just after the holiday season. It'd a hard hit having only jisr got my other tune a couple months ago.

My bone stock C63s trapped 120 mph lol. Time to update your signature OP.

Kirklandhans tunes are the truth. I've seen some of his tunes in person on various M177/M178 cars and they are noticeably faster than the OTS tuners.. Wait till you see what the upgraded turbo cars are capable of.
