How is this even a topic that anyone here with a brain in their head would even care about?

'"Spent days researching this..." Wow!!

People complain about the constant bumping of Ads from the sponsors? This is worse.

Maybe you could go find the guy who hates high flow air filters and ask his opinion?

Who has time for this S#it.

You must be very stupid if you are reported to your insurance.

Haahahahahahaha liberal you're a crack up lmao 🤣

Don't worry about declaring it. I know other guys are all about telling their insurance every single thing but yeah, just get it done and that's it.

Wisdom? Haha what's with the hostility. Simple question about declaring your tune to insurance and you lads are getting your panties in a knot.

Reading about this on multiple forums shows that the majority of owners don't declare it to their insurance. Did I not mention that above?

Most people are saying that getting a tune or flash would not be detectable by insurance inspectors upon an accident or a claim. Others are debating that they can detect it.

All I wanted was to see what you fellas are doing in regards to being tuned. No need to get sensitive.

The poll speaks in volumes. You guys don't declare it to insurance and that's all I was curious about.

George Lisciandro

I’m not sensitive about this at all. My car is stock so I can’t answer your poll.

I was just curious what you found out during your research. Are insurance companies denying claims based on this?

Do you tell your dealer the car is tuned so you can lose your warranty?

No more MB:(
No experience with tunes here but I think if you spent a lot of money on tunes then perhaps sending an itemized list to your insurer might be wise. It would bump your premium in exchange for peace of mind but so what. You're fully covered.
