See the gap at the bolt that tightens down the cover? That is the space the riser created.
I use a Venturi Intake but one of the fastest guys in my CLC63 Club uses this or a riser like this and he is one of the fastest out of about 72 of us. I am not saying any Intake makes a huge difference but I am saying that this type of Intake sure didn't hurt his performance along with his tune and DPs.
I am curious why they disconnected the BOV hoses and plugged the Intake.
