Few months ago we decided to go and check out some SUV’s to upgrade our existing 2019 X5 50i. I kept pushing my wife towards an AMG but she prefers Bmws. Her biggest concern is the tech, which is completely confusing. I get that, I still say that BMW has some of the easiest and best techs in the market.
Our dealer had a new X5M that just came in and we couldn’t walk away. It’s an incredible SUV. It’s mind boggling the way it handles the turns for such a big and heavy vehicle.
Personally, I prefer the AMG V8 and MCT transmission combo. It’s definitely more exciting. Makes the car feel more special. BMW V8 with ZF combo is incredibly fast but not much emotion. I felt the same way in my 2018 M5.
Wow nice combo there. I like the color and the wheels. Competition is the way to go. Saw an x5m on the road recently and it has a nice presence and stands apart. Congrats!

Thanks. They really do stand out. Subtle yet aggressive. It needs a louder exhaust so that’s what I am looking into now.
Very nice. I was close to purchasing an X5M as well before I settled on the C63 coupe. I had the same reaction to something that big and heavy moving the way it did. The tech in your new one is pretty nice too. And great color choice.

Thanks. Tech is great and we have all of the options except night vision. It pretty much checks all of the boxes between looks, performance, utility, tech, and comfort.

I haven’t driven the GLE63 so cannot compare. Both my wife and I cannot stand soft riding cars so this is perfect for us.
I have driven the GLE43. It’s a nice ride, very sporty but the cabin is quiet and comfortable not soft feeling at all. I really liked it. I also test drove a Macan Turbo which is a little smaller but man that thing is a beast.
