Tune Recommendations
I come from the world of Cobb tuning where plug and play is super simple. It seems the MB is a little more challenging to tune as far as sending ECU in or doing complex install under the hood.
Renntech seems to be the only one I found that is truly plug and play with a hand held device.
Am I incorrect in saying this? I am new to this world.
I'm guessing price is the deterring factor for some, but it seems the convenience is worth the money.
Any thoughts?
They seem reputable. I'm leaning toward picking up there HHT tune for my 2019 c63s for Xmas.

RennTech is a solid company, that owns its name and doesn't "franchise" out.. some other tuners like a EuroCharged , is a franchise model, so you get different experiences at different locations etc etc.
I have a 16' c63s with a Renntech Stage 2, and is easy peasy .. super simple to install, either to load new program, or to put back to stock.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Also, reputable shop. Long time AMG tuners. They also have an intermediate tune for those that want to keep it more "low key" yet still want more.
Renntech for me.
On the JB4 I got dead consistent runs of 130.1 - 130.4 mph each time, until it threw a misfire and ended my day limping around the track like a schmuck.
Today on the Renntech Stage 1, I consistently hit 140-141 mph. And zero issues with CELs or misfires etc. Rock solid.
A 10-11 mph jump up at those speeds in a 1/3 mile is NO JOKE. Just shows how good the Renntech is, though.
The gtc has just 50 more hp than our cars and gets a dry sump oil system and bigger turbos. Amg could of easily added 2 lbs more boost but kept boost pressure same but put bigger turbos on it for top end.
The gtc also has different pistons with 9.5 compression ratio.

The dry sump is nothing more than a nice track package for improved handling and larger oil quantity.
