2020 C63S coupe, and my amg driver units don’t have this option! My friend who have the same car and same package have it
I don’t remember seeing that on my 2020 c63s coupe.
In fact, c63s manual only mentions follow function available on left side button.

My AMG Drive Unit (2019) doesn't have the AMG DYNAMICS function, either. It replicates the same functions that are available on the center console, and yes that includes the manual transmission mode. I have seen newer models like the GT that have additional functions such as AMG DYNAMICS and the 360 camera. The thing is my car is in for the Service B at the moment and some other stuff and there is a new software update for the AMG Drive Unit. My car already got an update in September that fixed the issues with the dynamic engine mounts, so this update must have just come out. I should get my car back tomorrow or the day after and I'll report back if there are new functions after the update.

Just got my car back. The outstanding campaign for my VIN was 2020060019. It's related to the rear differential, see link. No new functions in the AMG Drive Unit after the update, though. I'm not sure I would use the AMG DYNAMICS option from the steering wheel, though and change it on the fly. I pretty much have it set to Pro in my Individual mode and in the canyons I put the car in Race and ESP Sport, so AMG DYNAMICS is in Master. Basic for normal driving in Comfort mode is fine.

I haven't spoken to my service advisor, he was off today, but I don't expect him to know anything about this. It's very possible that they've updated this sometime during the 2020 production, which can happen. There might be an update for existing cars eventually. How far apart are the production dates of your car and your friend's car? Another reason could be that his car has an AMG Drive Unit that was meant for a GT. There are some strange builds coming out of the factory at the moment. According to an AMG specialist due to COVID they are having part shortages and instead of holding up production they are building cars with whatever is available. Somebody recently took delivery of their C43, which they ordered with the AMG Drive Unit, but it arrived w/o it. Well, it arrived w/o the guts of it, but the controls are still on the steering wheel. They just don't light up and don't do anything. Somebody else reported the other day that their 2020 C300 has a digital instrument cluster, but they are missing features such as being able to change the design. According to the specs, this particular car is supposed to have the analog cluster, so it looks like they built it with a digital cluster but made it work like the analog cluster.

My car was build in Jan of 2020, and my friend's car was build in 2020 June, All of us got the car at Toronto, and also cla35 has that option, it's very strange. I will go Mercedes on Monday, and ask them, after that, I will let you know. Thanks again, and stay safe.
