Rear wheels backspin while drifting

After watching a video, I noticed a slight rear wheel backwards spin.
Any idea whether this will affect transmission ?
C63 w205, 9G Transmission
2nd gear, manual, Comfort mode. More than 1k rpm.

I know that when rear wheels start to spin backwards there is a safety mechanism to switch off the engine and set gear to "N".
Somehow it didn't happen to me this time.

Attaching a slowed down (x0.5) video

How and why would you title this DRIFTING.. its just SLIDING in the snow ...... come on man..
(I am certain you didnt mean ill-will on this post, but since your new, I would change the title) As alot of us do "DRIFT" these cars, and that isnt even funny, well , yes it is...

@superswiss you ever drifted like this ? ( )

The idea was to show you a portion of video that concerns me the most.

It was not intended to showcase my drift skills

So... Any idea what happens to transmission when rear wheels backspin ?

OP, nothing happened here. You were spinning your wheels and the car rolled backwards at one point. Are you not aware that these cars don't have a torque converter? Instead they have a computer controlled wet start-up clutch. Your rpm was so low that the computer declutched so your car rolled backwards like a manual transmission car with your foot on the clutch pedal would. Having said that, even with a torque converter a car can roll backwards below the stall speed of the torque converter. Normally, the computer holds the brakes for you on an incline so that you don't roll backwards as you change from the brake to the throttle, but in this situation it wasn't steep enough and you were spinning the wheels, so the car just kinda rolled backwards.
