Tyre set up on 19/20 staggered Coupe M01

Tyre set up on 19/20 staggered Coupe M01
I can't seem to find a clear answer on what perhaps is an ongoing debate.
I am wanted to change the Michelin Super Sports I currently have fitted to a Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. I have run them on previous cars and found all round performance a significant improvement over the SS.
I have a 2017 coupe on the 19"/20" staggered cross spoke wheels which M01 Stamped Variant Super Sports in a 255/35/19 and a 285/30/20 which I believe is the stock OEM fitment.
Pilot Sport 4s come in M01 Variant in the original 255/35/19 size, but the closest I can get to the rear is a 295/30/20, couple of questions for your knowledgeable bunch:
a.) Does it matter if I run a slightly wider rear tyre without also increase the front to say a 265 (which doesn't come in M01 fitment)
b.) Does it actually matter if I run a standard 285 wide rear without being M01 stamped given that the speed ratings seem to be the same

You don't have to use MO/MO1 tires. All car manufacturers work with the tire manufacturers to ensure a supply of OEM tires for their cars. In some cases these designations mean no more than the tires are OEM and allocated for the particular brand. With performance tires there can be differences in the compound, internal tire construction and even tread pattern to match the desired characteristics of the cars. I have changed to the PS4S about a year ago and am already on the second set of front tires. They are not MO/MO1, but that doesn't really matter. They perform better than the MO/MO1 PSS. You can go with wider sizes, but I don't really advocate that. Wider tires means heavier tires, so more rotational mass. The C63 doesn't come from the factory with the PS4S, even the 2019+ models still come with PSS, so it hasn't been tuned from the factory for the PS4S anyway or even with the PS4S in mind. The tire is an improvement over the PSS in general and whatever is different in the MO/MO1 PSS doesn't really matter if you go to a completely new tire that's an all-around improvement even if there is currently no Daimler specific variant.
