I haven't used tires you mentioned but I would get the toyos only cause they are cheaper. With the weight of our cars you will chew through semi slicks.

what tires do you use? In Mexico options are limited, I can't find the Goodyear F1 Supersport, or the Bridgestone RE-71R, nor Falken, nor Yokohama, etc. The only other choice is the Pilot Sport Cup 2, but that's over $2K USD.
The difference between Pirelli and Toyo isn't that big, only $150 (which is 10%). If performance or durability is better, then that would influence my choice more than such a small difference. It's hard to find quality reviews on the new R888R. Tyre Reviews channel on youtube is the best, but they have only reviewed the old R888, it didn't do well, so I don't know if the R888R has improved a lot. The Trofeo R was faster than the Cup 2 in that review by they way.

When I tracked my previous cars I used yokos. Do a google search on trofeo r vs r888r and you will get results on other car forums that have actually used them. I don't want to recommend between the two cause I haven't used either of them. Like I said before if it was me I would start with the cheaper option, if I don't like them then I will buy different tyres once they go bald.
