Battery Indicator - Added new audio amplifier and started getting this error
Hey folks - Hopefully someone here can give me some advice. I have a 2018 AMG C63s where I've added a new sub box and amplifier. After adding them, I've started getting a Battery indicator message stating to stop the vehicle and let the engine run. This happens even when I'm not actively using the audio sound, but when I'm on the cell phone or even just pushing the engine power.
I've thought about adding an additional battery with isolator for the amp to pull from instead of the main battery but before going through that expense I figured I would ask the collective if anyone has had this problem before what did they do to fix it.

As far as I know, he didn't remove the battery, just ran the short cable from the primary battery to the amp in the trunk. Mercedes changed the battery location to the trunk in my model year or in 2017?.. not sure.
I've thought about adding another battery with an isolation device between the two but I'm concerned the same problem will occur.
I've looked up the alternator and it should be able to produce up to 180 amps of juice according to the technical specs on my car. So I'm really befuddled.
Where is this battery sensor you talk about?

I would suggest that the OP post their question in the W205 C63 section of this forum where owners of W205 C63s will be more than glade to help. This W206 C63 section of the forum is for the new W206 generation that's not on sale yet.
