This forum is probably not the most representative sample, but it seems from all the threads about it around here, most people seemed to have received it in the meantime. The thing is it installed silently in the background for me and others. I never actually got a notification. I only found out when I happened to see on MBUSA that the recall had been closed for my VIN, and then subsequently once the OTA updates page became available in the app it showed up there as shown above. If you enter your VIN at the link below, is the recall still open? If it's closed, but you don't see the update in the app, then I'd probably contact them and find out what's going on. They are likely doing a staggered rollout as to not overwhelm their servers, but not sure in what order they are doing the VINs. The USA built cars such as the C63 sedan have a different VIN from the German built cars, and in Europe the eCall system is mandatory by law, so they probably prioritized the German VINs.

Yep as superswiss said, the hermes module recall seems like a silent update, I didn't know the update was installed until I opened the mercedes me app to see if the recall update was available. No notification at all in app or car.

The recall is still showing as pending on the MBUSA recall site. The update also isn't showing up for me in the Mercedes Me Connect app. Guess I'll follow up with the stealer next time my car is there.

I don't think the update will show. I'm guessing that when it's sent to you it just auto downloads and installs without any notification since it's a recall.

Yeah, then it hasn't been sent to your car yet. Once the update has been installed, the recall will show as completed on MBUSA.
