I just dont know what to call the damn thing to start searching,... I did/do part searches for OBD etc etc and get pulled into a whole different matrix...

Not sure I understand what your issue is, but if the OBD plug is loose and falls out, I use this adapter to keep up in place. It’s pretty snug so it’s tight.

The cars OBD plug slides and locks into it, and the it screwed to the driver side foot well.

Thanks for the post and replies... I think I found the thing, waiting for it to come in, but basically its the part that HOLDS the OBD plug into the underdash panel ( that then you plug into ) so just above the peice that has the Flap for open and close on the port connection.
