135mph sounds a lot but really is nothing for our cars....20 years ago I used to have an Audi A90 Kaman in Germany and that was limited to 155mph (250kmh) on its small 2.3l NA engine...only difference was in today's units it took forever to get up to speed (was fast at the time).

I definitely like how this thread is going, very informative and thank you all for adding your input...let's keep it moving. I do have a question, on the CarBahn website (and I'm sure the others), what is meant by "Matching Warranty?" The warranty on the car, the warranty on the tune, what exactly?

It means for example, If your car came with a 4 yr/ 50k mile warrany and say you only have 2 yrs and 30k miles left then they would back the engine for the amount of time/miles left on you factory warrany. Does that make since?

Yes sir, makes a lot of sense. My warranty is up at the end of November this year..

Hey Divine AMG have you run your 19 C63S on the track with your AMR stage 2? I have a 17 C63S with same tune plus modal works 200 cel catted DPs (bought from alexZtuned). He got low 11's as well with dragy before I bought it from him I believe with this same tune. Wondering if this set up can get high 10s at least with good grip on a track

Since you're in CA and they're one of the states that are now failing the inspection on cars that have modified ECU programming, you might want to use a piggyback tune. Not as aggressive as an ECU tune, but can easily be turned off (or uninstalled) for state inspection visits.

I used a RaceChip piggy on my 2016 C63 S for a few weeks and it gave very noticeable increases. I had to remove it because I had a transmission issue that took about a year to narrow down via the dealer and country AMG expert. Then, of course, once the issue was diagnosed and fixed, I replaced the car with a GTR (and Mr. Murphy laughs 'n laughs).

I currently have the RaceChip up for sale (https://mbworld.org/forums/market/821371).

All from Personal Experience

Renntech - A+. Great customer service and great power gains. Used them many times with no issues

Weistech - A+. Stage One. If you want a tune that just plugs in and picks up power like the car should have had from day 1. They did a great job. I was so impressed, I spent 20K more and drank all thier cool aid. If they sold it, i bought it and I got hosed for 8 months. Quite Possibly the worst customer service on the planet. Plus when you do get them on the phone they blame you for all their shortcomings. From the head guy all the way down to the dude that answers the phone. They just suck. But credit where credit is do, their base stage 1 tune worked great

PTG A+++++. Nothing better - PERIOD. They fixed all the Weistech mistakes and within monets of strapping it down to the dyno, they picked it up over 100 more than Weistech using all the Weistech parts. Then I put the PTG parts on made 800+ to the tires. I live in 105+ AZ weather and have not missed a beat.

Just my 2 cents. Just call PTG and be done with it. That way if you want to go level 2. PTG has you covered
