Best obd2 tuning
Any updated info on this please
Circa +80 bhp would be great
Btw Does anybody know how big a stock file for a 2018 C63 should be? I just sent mine into Carbahn to be tuned but its only 37kb....and I feel like that's very small

I am tuned by kirklandhans as well and can say his tune and software are top notch. Looking forward to his turbo upgrade as well.

But, do your own due diligence, talk to the owners/tuners, and go with who you feel you can trust. There plenty of feedback on various tunes on the forum

What I'm still uncertain on however, is the ability to datalog and review your own data at any time, and at your own discretion. I believe you have to log into their server to actually conduct the log, which will require a mobile hotspot, of course. Whether or not you can choose what parameters you log, and for that matter, if you can even review and compare your own actual data remains uncertain.
Further, where it was explained to me that they do in fact conduct revisions based upon the data logs they obtain, but they do not disclose what actual adjustments they make, or why they make them.
I'm not a tuner by any stretch, but I do understand the basics, and would like to be aware of what's being changed, and why. Or, at least want to be able to view the data logs through the revision process to compare. I respect that AMR doesn't have the time to hold every customers hand, and isn't in the business of providing an education on the nuances of Mercedes tuning, and that's agreeable.
However, I do hope to be able to have the access and true flexibility that my above questions address.
Kudos to AMR, nonetheless.

If I'm not mistaken, you can use an HP Tuner with VCM Suite (an OBD 2 device) for full datalogging of our vehicles (timing, boost, misfire, knock, air/fuel, all PID’s).
It's why I'm also considering the other end of the spectrum and just going with the tried and true Renntech HHT to set and forget, and just enjoy the car.
That said... I have the hp tuners current beta suite on my laptop, along with the MPVI1 PRO. I will likely upgrade to the MPVI1.
I'm on search of other m177 guys to share their channel/PID list with me. That would certainly satisfy the logging aspect.
Heck... Hopefully some tuners will actually start tuning our cars with HP tuners, as that is the most widespread tuning software, AFAIK. Just but sure how comprehensive the HPT support is for our cars.

Legit the actual software amg uses to log the car
it's all in German and this is the hardware amg uses to tune the car on an engine dyno.

TBH, I must admit that I became a bit weary once the thread was began that he was somebody else that simply adopted the name "Kirkland hans", to escape his prior reputation.
Nonetheless, his approach to custom tuning through datalogging is no doubt what this community needs, IMHO. And for that matter, the few members on this forum seem to be happy with his service, and results.
Only thing is, unless you spend the time and money to purchase and familiarize with xentry and vidiamo (which will only apply to this car), you lose the datalogging/customization factor that he provides, and wind up with an "off the shelf" version of his tune... As you do with most other tuners at this point, except of course, AMR.

Again this thread is about who had the vest obd tuning.. can amr ,renntech,oe,ec change the firmware of your ecu? No they can't. Do you know there is a specific firmware that makes the most power and has the most pops and bangs? Again thread is about the best. Not what you are happy with. I don't see amr making 1000whp on bigger turbos.

so far we seem to have.
AMR which provides a custom tune, but may or may not provide ongoing data logging and or access/awareness to your own logs and adjustments.
Kirklandhans which requires you to purchase and familiarize with xentry and vidiamo to allow for custom remote tunes/revisions.
Many (arguably most) do not seem to care about the logging capability, and I personally may yet defer to a simple Renntech HHT. But I would prefer a true custom tune with communication with my tuner to have a better awareness about how I want my car to drive, and what he's doing to achieve it.

As far as custom tuning we do that on the daily basis for customers that request that as well. We can provided a logging solution, or use your log data based on equipment/software you already have to better refine your tune. (same way we just got one of our C43 customers into the 10's - the only one there) This was further detailed on the forums when we created our blended fuels tunes for the various platforms months back. Customers would apply the tune, and then send us logs to customize the file based on how the car reacted as well as the e85 blends in their area.
From my perspective, there are some very competent tuners on this platform. As skratch indicated find one that you trust, that is willing to work with you and has great communication pre and post sale. We are so confident in our tuning that we offer our own warranty.

You also say you tuned 60k cars? I've been here for 20 years almost and not 1 single thread about you guys using vidiamo to data log..
