I like the Edition 1 style front lip. It looks nice and isn't too over the top. I will probably add one to my car in carbon fiber to finish off the carbon fiber additions I have made.

You already have a thread going here on that: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c63s-...-thoughts.html

That's the Edition 1 lip that you asked about and I posted a pic of the OE Aero front splitter on mine, which is similar to the Edition 1. There are more aggressive ones certainly that are also even easier to scrape, but your best bet is essentially the OE Aero splitter or a replica.

They are nice but I would avoid the RW carbon one at least. I dont want to drill holes in my bumper just to have it turn into problems shortly after. Apparently its okay/normal to have pieces that fit like below. This was the one I received. I was told you're not suppose to use double sided tape and just screw in from the bottom after I brought this to their attention. One rock hit or scrape and the thing is going to crack or shatter with the amount of stress on it just to mount it properly as they are very rigid pieces. All my RW pieces have been a huge disappointment (facelift diffuser, sides & front lip). The inner lip also in the picture is not RW and fit perfectly without any forcing it into shape.

That's disappointing. For those results though, I'll just try a cheap alternative from Amazon or eBay.

As to the inner lip, are you referring to the carbon fiber trim in front of the lower grill?

For front lip, I bought from 5-6 sources including eBay, JL Motoring, Storm Motorsport UK etc. And RW Carbon offered best quality and fitment at best price.

I had mine sprayed and installed by a reputable body shop. Couldn’t be happier.

Since you have a coupe, my recommendation is to go with OEM parts. If you’re on a budget but still value quality then RW Carbon are your people, plus they stand by their products.

I have had the exact opposite results with my RW carbon parts (diffuser, lip, spoiler, sides and mirrors). Almost two years since everything was installed and could not be happier.

Correct, the inner lip was from D2_sport on ebay. But was not cheap @ $1K. You get the upper vent trim pieces as well but didnt use those. Most other aftermarket dont have the gloss black front which is why I went with it.

For those that buy in the future, just be sure to install quickly, they will help you out. Matt over there seems like a good guy but I haven't had good luck unfortunately and spent quite a bit. Wanted to get one of their spoilers but cutting my loses at this point.

2 of the 4 fins on my diffuser came cracked. Since it took me 4 mo to take it out of the wrap, I'm stuck with it. They said they were going to send me some clear to fill in the cracks which they never sent. They wanted to blame shipping damage but the box is in perfect condition and was not damaged (pics from today). Box was stored by itself with nothing else on it or leaning against it. Such a bummer because I spent $400 on facelift bigger tips and cant use those either.

The gelcoat on one of the side skirts is cloudy. Just had to be the driverside also so I have to look at it every time I walk up to it. Its not turning yellow at least.. Looks more cloudy in the sun though:
