Rear Left Backrest not latched message

Hello, as the title suggests, I folded my rear seats and when I folded them back up I started getting a message saying rear left backrest is not latched even though it is and ive tried multiple times but no luck.

any ideas on what i could try to get rid of this message? Thanks

Maybe seatbelt stuck when seat folded?

i took a close look and mived my hand around too but nothing seems to be stuck.

unless this ends up being another mercedes quirk now that my warranty just finished too womp womp

Try closing with a bit of force. Always happens to me when I get my car washed as the shop usually just pushes it back in place or without enough force.

Same rear seat warning issue

Hello, I have that same annoying issue on my 2018 GLC300. Apparently the vehicle is set to fall apart at 120k miles.
Trust me I have tried the slamming the rear seat method with no luck of course.
Hoping that someone has figured out a resolution please.
It only happens in the rear seat behind the driver and seems to be triggered once someone sits there. Then the never ending warning on dash comes up over and over even after dismissing it.
Im guessing there must be a sensor issue under the seat but cannot even determine how to lift up the rear seat cushion.

Trying slamming it in. Had it happened to me a few times when I took my car for a wash. Same thing goes for the bonnet, can't push to close always have to slam it or drop it from pretty high for there to be no warning message.
