Airbox spacer for 2019+ C63S AMG Coupe

Good evening fellow Mercedes aficionados.
I realize that this modification has been discussed somewhat on this and another forum (tunedmercedes.com), but its still unclear to me if there is actual data demonstrating a legitimate advantage to using an airbox spacer, either from UPD, VRPSpeed, or another company.
Would anybody knowledgeable with this modification, other than a product sponsor, please provide some input? If it is a legit option, the price seems reasonable for what it is. And who is the best aftermarket company that makes this item?
Thank you.

Personally, I would rather create a couple holes at the front of the air box then pay $200 fir this mod.

I hear you. I'm not eager to throw money away. But does creating more airspace make a difference in the way described by the product?

I take it from the lack of replies, that such a product is not worth pursuing.

You can put 50 spacers on the stock intake and won't matter. There is a huge bottleneck where it flattens like a pancake going into the turbos.

I have ultimatepd spacer incoming and will install it over the weekend.
I do not expect this to give my car much hp, but I am just hoping that this would give me better throttle response for daily driving.

What wrong with your throttle response? S+ mode is Damn good. If you want more sensitive, go with Sprint Booster.

Because I had MW intake before and I could tell difference in throttle response compare to stock intake in any driving mode.
I sold the intake because I did not really like sound coming from open air intake system.
There aren't any reasonably priced closed system aftermarket intake system so I decided to try out the spacer first.
