C63 Tire Change for Comfort?

I have had my '21 C63S Cabrio as a DD for about 6 months now. The biggest downside for me has been the harsh ride on the bad roads found here in NC. The C63S came with 19/20-inch AMG forged cross-spoke wheels with the Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. I have reduced the PSI down to 38 / 37 which helped but the ride is still too rough when I am not in a sporty mood.

I recently got a C8 and the mag ride is a dream and really shows the limits of the C63S suspension. Would changing out the Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires to either the Pilot Sport A/S 4 or the Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06 help or should I bite the bullet and downgrade to something like the E53 Cabrio?

Not sure what the recommended normal load tire pressures are for the cab. What does your fuel door sticker say? I know the cab is heavier, so I expect higher recommended pressures, but FWIW, I use 33/32 on my '19 coupe with the 19/20 wheels and PS4S tires. The PS4S ride noticeably more comfortable than the PSS it came with, but not sure how they compare to the Cup 2. The Cup 2 are meant for the track. Ride comfort is great for the most part, but our roads are not that bad. Higher pressures definitely get rougher and if I drive on a bad road it's not all that pleasant, but not too bad, either. Only potential issue with lower pressures is that you have less protection from potholes etc., so don't drive into one.

33/32??? my door jamb says 42 front 48 rear when cold, ends up riding around at 46/51 by the time they warm up.

The door sticker only shows max load. That's meant for when the car is loaded full of passengers, cargo and you are planning to hit 180 mph. Look at the sticker inside of the fuel door for the complete story. 33/32 is for normal load and up to 155 mph.
