First Class Protection Plan - Worth it?
Hello folks,
I recently just purchased my C63s Coupe. It's my first car, so I basically want to know every bits (all new to me) that dealer told me to avoid any extra cost. So the condition of my car is a 2 year old 2019 C63s Coup.

Questions:
1. Is it worth buying? (I just want to gather some info see if those coverages are usually vague and you need always need to argue with them?)
2. Can you negotiate the price of this "First Class Protection Plan"

Highly depended on how much the stealer is charging you for the coverage. The mark up on these plans is extremely high (>100%), so there is definitely room to negotiate. Selling these protection plans is typically the gold mine for a stealership.
From my experience, the stealer will never reduce the price of these plans to make them worthwhile to purchase.

You meant the dealership? ("Stealer" does sound better, hahaha). Thanks for the information. I think they mentioned something 4000$ CAD for 6 years. I am thinking if with this protection, I could buy cheaper third party insurance (for liability coverage or comprehensive coverage)

General advice across the board is to never buy any "extras" from the dealership. You can always get everything they offer aftermarket, and it is always way cheaper. I know, because I was a finance manager for a few years.

I am super new to the AMG. In general, I am super new to the all car stuff. One big concern to go with aftermarket now is I am still researching a trusted aftermarket service. But it's really a slow process to build up the trust by just browsing over internet.

What Drisso said, anyone can go out and buy a warranty plan on a used car, buying one from the dealer just insures they get to walk away with their cut of your money. If you're genuinely concerned, do a little bit of research of different options, what coverages/deductibles/costs are out there, and pull the trigger on your own.
