Ps that don't work! You will get limp after 4500 rpms
Zac intake is taking care of what I'm talking about with there scoops directing air to the filter. But still with hood closed its not getting as much with hood open on dyno.

But to settle this claim, albeit crudely with some plasticine you can see there is plenty of room above and around our filters with the bonnet closed. A cone style filter offers many advantages over the panel. Those that are interested can read more on our website. Happy intake shopping @danielguo83 👍

for modal workz I heard some bad things. like worse than a drop in filter or even stock ones, hp drops etc.had a shop near me that have installed one on a glc63. and didn't get good result at all.

My car did have more turbo lag when I used a ZAC and it went away when I changed to a closed system but I think it had to do with the BOV venting to air.

C63/GLC63 intake honest opinion
Late post, but honestly the VRP intake is not a very good design, it just sucks in hot air run after run. Same thing for the BMS intake, that one is even worse after testing. Eventuri is good but pricey same goes for the weistec intake. The only two I would recommend would be the first generation Blackboost intake and the CTS turbo intake. The cts is very good for the price in my opinion, I currently have it on my GLC and is good after logging some data.

It is virtually the same open box design as all of the other kits in the market. The CTS kit has almost half the size filters and looks like the piping is only 2.5" our kit is already proven, The hot air is cooled post turbocharger so has little to no effect on performance, Also the design of the C/GLC keeps the heat on the outside of the engine to a minumum under driving conditions.
