Several Error Messages After Less Than 400 Miles?

Apparently the ASR (same as Renntech) exhaust flap module was causing some sort of conflict. I had installed it and it ran fine for a couple of days without any incident so I didn’t think the ASR was related. They unplugged and replugged the module back, and cleared all the codes. So hopefully it’s been permanently resolved as the module is working just fine and the codes haven’t returned. Thankfully they didn’t charge me and covered the fix under warranty.
So when you installed your ASR, did you unplug your battery ? ( seems like NO )
Since there are sub systems in the car that monitor a ton of other crap, anytime you introduce another electrical element, its almost 100% to disconnect the battery, as any change in resistance and draw, with start to freak the car out, if it hasnt adapted for it.
I have not heard nor seen this problem prior ( FYI)

Why would you name Renntech, vs what the actual brand is/was ?? (was it a renntech item?)
