Wondering if anyone has information about these yet? I can't find any info about PS5 what so ever. I'm in Australia 🥱

I was told about the new version of the pilot sport 4s a few month ago by a guy that work for mitchellin. Basically one of the compound use to make the 4s is in a shortage due to covid so mitchellin developed a newer version of the 4s. Could what op is posting be the new 4s?

So far tire sizes available are for PS5 is 205/40ZR17 up to max 275/45ZR20.

That article talks about a 1.7%/1.5% improvement vs PS4 on wet/dry test lap and an improved feel. Wonder how much better that tire can feel vs the PS4, which already are great. I guess I will find out soon judging by the pace I go through tires.

Will it make it to the U.S.? The reason I ask, I've seen other tires in the past lauded overseas but never made it here.

I would expect it to come here. All the Pilot Sport tires have come here previously. Wondering if there's gonna be a 5S. The 4 was for smaller sizes and the 4S for the bigger sizes. Maybe it's gonna be the same.

Actually no. I was thinking about my kid's '17 AMG GTS. My tire selections for the Macan are limited for 20" wheels. For instance, I could get the Michelin 4's, but not the 4S's.

The Pilot Sport 5 launch press release from Michelin, including their timetable for availability in Europe and rest of world. Also some performance figures relative to competing tires, though some of their choices for competing tires seem a bit odd.

Yeah true. Plus what's with the sizing at least give us bloody 285/30/20 and 255/35/19 to choose from 👎
