How to get rid of BOV/Diverter Valve sound?

Installed Zac Intakes recently and the intake hoses are not needed anymore but now the engine is making that “woosh” sound that is too loud in my opinion.

I know some guys pay to hear that noise but it sounds kind of ricey to me.

Other than an aftermarket BOV or adapters these brands are selling, are there any simple solutions?

Hey mate, I have the same set up and it is what it is. Nothing can be done. I installed the new ZAC 2.0 BOV's that replace the stock ones as well and you still get the "woosh" noise as those tubes that you've pictured are not attached to the BOV's therefore the air stil pushes out... You cannot block them off for obvious reasons so maybe you could think of something to "dampen" the noise. Im unsure what though.. Good luck...

Hey @MIAMI BOY The RPA is somewhat adjustable, so you could option that, but it might not be something you want to spend the money on.
FWIW when we did initial testing, even with the hoses plumbed back you could still here the valves vent since there is no noise damping and a free flowing filter.
I know some owners have completely plugged / blanked the outlet port, however this is not something we would suggest.

How about extending the hoses and route it under and away from the engine bay so you hear it less

Or by adding an adapter inlet on the air filter pipes and connect the hoses to it.

Attach kazoos to the end of the tubes.

Guys with intakes, do you now hear the turbo spool?

I've been trying to get that spool noise forever but I can't hear anything through the snarling V8. I hear the little whistle out the exhaust when I installed my downpipes, but I'm referring to the noise a Huracan or R8 make when you boost them.

I see your point and I agree, it probably shouldn’t be blocked
