They had to take the bumper off, and to me at least, it seems like the body gap between the hood and bumper is too large and misaligned.

Under the hood, locate these tabs with Torx screw and loosen them. Then firmly lean onto the front bar to adjust and screw back in at desired level.
Below shows the tabs which have been adjusted (pushed all the way in) to leave the most minimum bumper gap.

Yes I understand, I had front brakes/rotors replaced, oil change and wheels refinished (under Tire/Wheel Policy)and was there almost 3 weeks. It seems everything at the Dealerships service are backed up.

unscrew all 3 and keep the bumper pushed in with your thigh as you tighten each screw. close the hood and see if it is to your liking, if not, push harder.

Just figured this out the other day.
To adjust the bumper height, there are two alignment bolts (Torx-40) inside the grill, as shown. Loosen them slightly, then bull the bumper upward to adjust the height. Hold the bumper at your desired height, then tighten the alignment bolts.
This solved my issue after the other method didn't do much to close the gap on our shop C63s.
Hope this fixes your gap!
