Steering sensor fix / reset

Hi all,

Quick one, 2016 C63s Edition 1 needs the steering sensor fixed. How can this be done? scenario is my local business that has done some great work to my car took the wheel off to fit up new carbon shifter paddles. Seems the steering is still "off" which now also affecting "lane assit" and "parking assit" features. Wheel has been removed since and re-aligned to correct middle position but features still dont work. Previous thred suggest the "sensor" needs to be reset / fixed. Anyone know how this is done? TIA

Cars now a day, you don’t just replaced the parts and it fixed. It need systems reset and re-calibrates. You’re not saving any $$$$ here if that is what you’re trying to do. Just take it to the dealer

Thanks but no thanks, I wont be going to a "MB dealer". Reason being, my car has a custom tune so they will just screw that up. Also, they are a rip off. I will go to my local MB guy who can do it. You havent answered my question re how is it fixed? Do you actually know or are you just providing a generic answer about getting a reset done?

Have you tried unplugging the battery for a while once the wheel alignment was fixed and then taking it for a drive?
