My issue were reported when the car still under warranty. The dealer wanted my to pay $350 for the belts if I want tye tensioners replaced which I push back. I asked to re-use my old belts since my car only have 30k miles. They push back and said it standard procedure must use new belts. I then told them that I’ll think about it. 2 weeks later (out of warranty) I went back to the dealer and asked them to explains to me why I can’t re-use the old belt. Their explanation were good enough for me and agreed with the repair. One week later, they then told me that they have to get MBUSA for approval on the repair. MBUSA agreed to paid for everything. I got lucky for sure.

I only drive the car in the weekend. Every time I start up the car, i got this annoying noise coming from the belt tensioners. It would go away after about 2 mins. There’s a thread on this issue. Most people with this issue with low mileages.
