After some soul searching, I decided to make the jump. Its been an incredible 4 years with the AMG. Enjoyed every minute of it. Off to the next chapter for me. Have some plans for the new ride too, currently all stock.
Will post a few nice things for sale including never used, custom made CF FL steering wheel with leather center cap, custom AMG leather floormats, Turbosmart Kompakts, Renntech EVM and some more.
Its been a great time here on the board, I will continue lurking watching what members do to their rides.
Congrats! Sweet ride! Is it a 4S or GTS?
Let us know the difference in driving and sound.
Neither, I started "small". I first thought that coming from C63s I need 4S or GTS but after driving them some more I started to really enjoy it. Initially I was a bit disappointed (what low end torque ;-)) until you know how to push the Porsche and when you wake it up its a whole different story. I also never really used the straight line power of the AMG, only on few occasions. The Porsche just drives a whole lot different. Hard to explain. The 305 tires take much better hold of the street in the Porsche than the AMG. Steering response is fast, nimble...its fun zipping between lines. No V8 rumble though but the sound of the PSE is intoxicating too. Once you pass the 5000RPM it feels and sounds more like race car than the beasty V8 AMG. It feels fairly light footed when you hit it...have to get used to it vs the heavy, steady AMG. I would take the AMG any day for highspeed highway cruising though - turn to comfort mode and cruise...the Porsche, while not really bad, is a sports car in nature. There is not really wind noise but tire noise, engine noise and whatever noise you can imagine. Its a really fun go-cart ;-) I got myself a nice comfy small SUV for the long, stress free highway trips.

Love the colour of the P, yet TBH I’m so done with Porsche. Aside from an Alfa many years back, I don’t think I’ve ever visited the dealership for constantly broken ***** in my life.
HOPEFULLY yours will be issue free and no problems on the horizon because it looks absolutely gorgeous mate.

Thanks...and I sure hope so too. If not, it will go back before warranty is over. Already had a little hiccup. I played around with all these settings for about an hour or so in driveway ..was enough to drain the Lithium ion battery. I guess it was low already as the previous owner barely drove it and then it was at the dealer for some time w/o being driven. A quick recharge fixed that issue but googled about it and learned its a common complain that the lithium ion batteries are somewhat figgly. Ordered myself a Ctek Lithium Ion battery trickle charger right away with quick connect.
Congrats! Looks beautiful. Cant wait to see more pictures.
Also, curious to know your thoughts about going from 4 door to 2 door as far as utilizing rear seats. I always told myself until my girls are big enough to drive themselves, I will always have 4 seats, even if its a coupe.

I bought a small, comfy SUV for 4 doors and luggage trips etc. Rear seats in the Porsche are for an emergency if you want to take someone home…has to sit sideways 🤣
Congrats Tobeit, I just came out of mine as well, did you trade it in with the BC's on it? What color is that? Good call on the trickle charger, Lithium batteries really need to stay on a charger.

Color is Aventurin Green - fairly new option. I love it, Trickle charger should arrive today - who would have guessed that these are so figgly.
Yeah, traded it with the BC's and the PSM kit. Did not have a second set of wheels around (and did not want to wait) and was afraid removing the PSM kit will damage the paint underneath and cause issues with the trade-in. Was not worth it for me all that hassle. Same for KW HAS and some other goodies. I got a real good deal (at least I think so ;-))
So, what do you mean "came out of mine" as well...traded for GT? That was my other option but decided on 911 instead. Nice pic, btw!
Congrats on the 911! But man it's a shame the AMG had to go - I commented before IMO you had the best set up PFL I have seen - I ordered the PSM kit after seeing your pics!

Yes, picked up a GT. Got great money for my car and it was priced well given the market so I pulled the trigger. A totaly different experience. A buddy of mine just picked up a 911 in that color, it's beautiful! Enjoy it!

Thanks a lot. Yes, loved the AMG and was hard to let go. But I can only drive one. Good luck with your built - the process is the most fun part. What I will miss are the family rides in it and getting compliments from strangers on red lights.

I test drove maybe a dozen GT/GTS and they are some special cars. Enjoy it!
