Fi exhaust( no downpipes)

Hi,
I recently bought and had installed a Fi exhaust system for my 2021 c63s. I was expecting a louder sound but after pick up the sound still sounded stock. I was wondering if anyone may know why that is. I spoke with Fi exhaust and they said I needed to have the valve motor reprogrammed. I called around and shops don’t seem to do this. I have also attached a link of the video Fi exhaust sent me how the vehicle will sound after their exhaust install. To say the least I am disappointed as the system was $3500.00 and it still sounds stock. Any help would be appreciated. https://youtu.be/7GA186dmKTM

Pretty sure it should've came with valve simulators to keep the valves open 100% at all times.

I cut off my performance exhaust, put a straight pipe and used the FI exhaust simulators to keep it from throwing a code. They were like $50 for the pair.

You could always cut off your secondary cats to get more sound, it’s completely reversible with a reputable shop.

I actually sold my 2017 C63s after a few months of installing this same exhaust without DP. The sound was so mediocre. The car also felt a touch slower as well. I installed the AWE simulator where the H-Pipe valve used to be and it didnt really do much. Overall very disappointing product from FI exhaust.

It would behoove everyone to look under their cars and see where the sound deadening is coming from. If your car came with the performance exhaust specifically, all of the sound deadening is from the cats up. Downpipes are the best solution for sound otherwise you're just wasting money.
