TPMS sensor fail

I was cruising down the highway the other day, maybe 65 or so, and all of a sudden 3 of my 4 TPMS sensors sh*t the bed. They went yellow and my car told me to please correct tire pressure. However the tire pressure and temperature we all in normal range.

Its both fronts and my driver rear.

Anyone have this happen before?

I have my A1 service next week so I will have them check this out, but wasn't sure what to make of it.

Stock wheels and tires.

Did you ever set it to your desired pressures? Your pressures are on the high side for normal driving. Let the tires cool down, then set the pressures to what you want them to be and go into the service menu to reset TPMS. This should clear the issue and make it work correctly moving forward. It may be as simple as the stored pressures do not correspond to what you have them set to. I always tell the shops to not mess with my tire pressure, as they are always wrong afterwards. You need to make sure they are set to what you want them to be and that the TPMS is reset to your preferred pressures.

Thanks for the reply.

Ill be honest, I have no idea how to set the pressures and clear the code. I'm guessing I can figure it out searching through the software.

What do you guys typically run in stock set up?

I bought the car exactly this way. I haven changed anything. The pressures have always ran that high and never had an issue before.

It was literally like a light switch. All of a sudden the 3 went on....and you can even see when the two rear pressures are exactly the same, only the driver rear was on, the passenger rear never went on.

There's a sticker inside of your fuel door with a series of recommended tire pressures for various load and speed scenarios. It's hotly debated among some members here due to the risk of wheel damage, but I run the recommended 33f/32r on my coupe as shown on the sticker for speeds up to 155 mph. I'll take a couple of pics of the tire service menu in a minute and post them.

Here are the pics for storing the current pressures as new reference values.

So I put air in them and they went off. They had 36 PSI in them. Now they have 45.

I will have to change the settings as you mentioned. Seems too high for daily driving.

WTF. How do 3 TPMS all go on at the same time for low air…..seems like a software issue, but so far it has stayed off and I’ve driven about 20 miles.

we will see.
