high milage w205 c63 thread

Hey guys, please share your milage on your c63, mods and problems so far. I want to make this the main thread so we all see how reliable these the m177/m178 are with tune vs stock. I’ve decided to keep mine forever as we all know the next gen is 4 cylinder hybrid then full electric. The future is sad but I’m grateful to be alive in this time to enjoy the last of the amg v8

2018 c63s coupe, 60k miles, pure 900, dp, tcu tune, modal works intake. Pure 900 turbos since 20k miles. 0 mechanical problems so far

Our car is reliable excepted when you start tuning it. Stages 2 & 3 tuned reported with issues.

2017 c63s coupe with 70k km. thought multiple times to get a tune but car has no traction already even with 305s plus the fear of mechanical issues has me stock still.

kinda crazy to see these cars priced at same levels where i bought it 4years ago. thought about changing but just dont know what car I could get that would give me the same brutal experience as ive never had a non v8 car. Anything worth getting in to after this would cost minimum 150k and i cant do that right now so i guess i just stick with this for now

113,000 currently. Purchased at 76k

only mod.. BMS Intakes

Pretty much done all preventive/regular maintenance which includes the following:
spark plugs, coil packs, all drive belts and all tensioners. Battery, aux battery, transmission flush/filter change, differential fluid change, full brakes & rotors replacement.

so far zero leaks, transmission was having that jerking/stuttering issue when I bought it but went away after a full transmission fluid flush. The fluid was green and nasty rather than blue.

car has seen 4 track days so far and has been performing well.

Update:
replacing intake magnet adjuster (aka control valve solenoid) on bank 2. 116,000 miles now
also, fuel pump issue during hot day at track w/ low fuel. I don't think our gas tanks have baffles like M cars do:/

Yea I was thinking the same thing, Test drove a Nissan GTR and EW interior is garbage, of course, tuned the power is there but eh, I had recently had a Porsche cool but to much money for the power amount, so I'm on the same boat as you.

Mine got 90k miles on it.

Does anybody have any recommandation on what should be done to the engine apart from the standard service a MB dealers?
Is it required to change any gaskets or bearing etc soon?

Personally id check any leaks on the valve covers, replace the coolant, transmission fluid @ every 25k miles before it turns nasty green, spark plugs every 30k, and be sure to go full throttle more than often to clear up some of that gunk on the valves enjoy man. Oh and be sure to change your oil sooner than the recommended 10k, I change mine every 5k and every time before a track day.

Thank you.
I dont drive 10k miles on a year so I think that the yearly oil change at MB is good enough.

I will check next time im in at the dealer for a service what has been done and what not of the things you mention.

Apart from that is the engine bay very clean. I check and wash it regularly

I have a 2021 c63s with 18,000 miles. The electric thermostat was replaced already under warranty for being defective and throwing a check engine light. I guess there’s a service bulletin for this issue. So be aware.
