I want to do the same. I would just black out the rear MB emblem. I know they are a pain to take off. Also you prefer no AMG emblem on the front grill?
I think from what others did that it’s easier to just buy black emblems from eBay or Amazon rather than wrap it.
I really prefer to have everything black chrome similar to E63s (2022) or the new 2023 C43.
I want to wrap the door handles, just not sure if body color or black.

*****I think it's a really nice look! Very sinister! I did much the same on my C63s. Installed the grill myself without having to remove the bumpers, etc.. It took longer but I kinda wanted to see if it could be done without dropping the bumpers and disconnecting so much stuff. Needed a few kind of odd trim tools to get to some of the clips in the back, but it all came together nicely in the end - though it took me some time as I was very very careful and kinda prolonged the job by sucking down so much beer as it was just sitting in my fridge calling my name....

I recently did the black out on my 18' c63s coupe too. I had the grill, rear star emblem and spoiler wrapped gloss black, all badges gloss black, tinted the distronic star and headlights with a Photochromic tint. When its dark, the headlights are not dark, but when its sunny outside, it looks tinted. At nighttime, I did not notice any loss of visibility from tinting the headlight. The distronic star functionality was not affected by the tint as I tested it. Unfortunately, the shop did a bad job putting the AMG badge, I think the guy broke my original tab and superglue the new one on on the grill =/

*****That's a really sharp looking car!!! I really like the color! I almost got that color myself but what was available at the time didn't have the sport seats, nor did it have the performance AMG exhaust, Apple Car Play, and some other options I really really wanted for what the dealers were asking at the time in terms of $$$. The original plan was to order a car but due to Covid, the dealer basically said no definitive ETA, etc... So, I ended up buying a nice and really heavily optioned used C63s.

One of my friends has a white C63s with a really sharp RennTech carbon spoiler, and the grill blacked out, etc.. Gorgeous car.

Reviving this as I'm looking to black out the grill on my 2020 63. Would it be better to have a shop paint it gloss black- OR- has anyone just "tinted" the grill?

I'm asking because my buddy tints, and could have him do it.

Couldn't find an actual answer if anyone has used actual blackout tint film? Gracias!
