Hi guys, i was doing an oil change for my c63, and fount those brace bar( shown in picture below, in red circle) are covered in rust and broke off. Does anyone knows the parts number for those or replacement parts, i called dealer and they spend half an hours trying to find them and still give the wrong parts number.
ps: the bar is made out of carbon type material in the middle and two steal parts at the end, and they glued them together. because of the rust, the left one just came off while the steel plate is on the car. poor design.
They do indeed. I believe this is what you are looking for. I guess your car has seen a lot of road salt. Give it an underbody wash regularly to get all that salt out and prevent corrosion.
