Hi,
I'm finding the Bass on the Burmester sound system on the coupe a little lacking.... I have it turned up all the way. I'm not looking for chest vibrating type of bass, but I've driven cheap compacts that have more bass than this.
Anyone done any upgrades they are willing to share pics? I'm looking to add something fairly concealed.

Have a look at the below if you are looking for an incremental upgrade without spending a ton of $ for custom work, potentially adding in the other pieces of the Match Up system as well to balance it out:
The real issue with the car is the location of the speakers/overall design, which limits the system to some degree. That said I think at least one user on this board did a full speaker replacement using these AudioTec components and was pleased, so it's a matter of your ultimate goals, $ tolerance, etc.
I did an upgrade over the winter including plug & play Focal center, front component and front subs powered by an Audiotec Fischer Match UP 10 DSP/Amp. I had a 10 inch JL Audio TW3 PowerWedge from a previous vehicle and installed in the center against the rear seats powered by an Audio Control ACM 1.300 amp. The sub box adds that low end that I couldn’t get from the OEM or even the upgraded Focal plug & play subs…as was stated above, the footwell location just isn’t conducive to good, low frequencies, but does add a nice overall punch if used as a mid-base.
