Thing under the hood

Can anyone tell me what is this thing under the hood? It's pre facelift c63s coupe.
It's definitely not OEM and I am trying to figure out what previous owner did here

Not sure what that is, but it looks like it's plugged into something. Try putting the numbers into Google. Looks like they might be a part number.

Maybe related to an aftermatket light kit f some kind?

Where do the wires from it go to?

I'm with LessIsMore.... Based on the placement I would suspect it has something to do with aftermarket lighting for your headlights.

Kind of looks like a heat sink for aftermarket light bulbs.

Some sort of aftermarket ballast for your lights. No idea why as your lights look like normal W205 prefacelift ones. Unless they were damaged and replaced by knockoffs?

Thank you all for the replies and suggestions.
I tried googling number of this thing but nothing comes out.

I have done more photos and it's indeed connected to the lights. On the the left side of the car the wire goes to the white connector. On the right side the wire is different and it goes somwhere below, deep in the hood, hard to say where exactly as it's really tight in there.

Right side, thin cable

Left side, thick cable

Lights look stock with all the right logos for your country, Poland (as you stated on your public profile).

I guess the previous owner had aftermarket headlights before and removed it before selling it? As others asked, do you mind checking if those "things" you mentioned are currently plugged in somewhere? Either I am missing something but the images you shown there doesn't clearly show if those "things" were plugged in.

Your LED eyebrow strips aren't supposed to be blue....

Blue is reserved for police.

"Problem" solved

not sure if you are serious or just joking (if you are joking, I'm sorry about this comment...) but the blue DRL is normal when you unlock the car at night in anywhere other than North America. It flashes blue then turns to white. It is indeed OEM. here is a good example: youtube.com/watch?v=0FbePR4T_Tc

W205C43PFL left side is connected to this white plug (5h and 6th photo of my previous post) and second cable goes somwhere deep in the hood, right side it's hard to say but also wires go somwhere deep in the hood.
It's really tigh there and I can't find where these cables go exactly.
Anyway, thanks for your help.

In two weeks I have A1 service so I will ask guys in the shop to check exactly where these "things" are connected and what they exactly do.

Yup the images didn't help too much with figuring it all out, sorry I wasn't too helpful.

Thanks for your update and your reply as well, I guess asking the guy at the shop to check is a wise decision of yours, please keep us posted.

Turned out it was not connected to lights. It's ellectronic damping cancellation kit for my aftermatket suspension
