Renntech / ASR EVM exhaust module - anyone had any codes logged?

Has anyone who’s fitted an EVM ever scanned their car for codes?

I’m wondering if the fitting of an EVM would potentially be detectable by a dealer if it was fitted and removed?

Thanks

No code. Just install and enjoy louder sound.

Thanks, my main concern is it able to be detected that it was fitted to the car, through storing of a shadow/hidden code or similar in the ECU 🤔

I don’t think so. I’ve had my car at the dealer with the EVM installed, but switched to stock, twice and no mention of any codes. They were scanning the ECU for another issue, so I’m sure if the EVM tripped a code, they would have seen and mentioned it.

Agree with all above - I've had the Renntech module for almost a year without issue - not sure why they even give you the option to remotely close the valves -- I've never once thought to close them after installing Enjoy.

Thanks all - I know it's unlikely to see a EML come on, but I'm curious if anyone has dug into whether this is stored in the ECU somewhere - mainly thinking about dealers rejecting warranty claims.

Any yeah, closing the valves isn't a good move

Probably not needed option for stock setup. But with aftermarket downpipe, it helps to close valve for long trip to get rid of drone.

*****Yea. This. Long trip with the drone from aftermarket downpipes gets old. I have secondary cat delete with the AMG exhaust and it is loud with the valves open. I like it around town, but sometimes I just need some peace and quiet.
