AMG C63s V8 Returning for MY2023?
According to MB’s 8/26/22 pr, several V8 models that went on a 2022 hiatus are set to return for 2023. The C63s is supposed to have no changes. Does anyone have any info on whether dealers are taking orders or if allocations are going to be very limited? if I can get one, I plan on trading/selling my ‘21 and going for a ‘23 with performance seats and the aero package.
I totally forgot that this topic was already posted a few months ago. Today, I called my local MB rep who I was working with last year on ordering a ‘22 before MB pulled the plug on V8’s. She told me they (along with most dealerships) are getting just one C63s coupe allocation, and they’re one of the largest MB dealers in the Houston area. These final 2023 C63s runs will be virtually impossible to score unless you’re in really good graces with your dealership or you manage to snag a cancellation/abandoned build.
I see that performance seats are not an option on the C63s but available in 2 seat trims on the C43. But I’m still going to try to land one. As much as I love my diamond white 2021, it’s a pain in the *** to keep clean. I think it looks even better in Obsidian black, plus I want the aero package which my car is missing. And 2023 will almost certainly be the final production year for the W205 V8, which makes the trade worth it in my eyes.

Hey Raven, I have the 2023 order form and it shows the performance seats are available on the C63s with any upholsteries, but only 2 for the C43, that was correct.

Thanks for chiming in. On the 2023 order guide I have, it states that it's available "Only" for the 241 and 641 upholsteries (both of which are for the C43, not C63). However in the availability column it states all models. So it's rather ambiguous.
I sent the order guide with all of my build options checked off to my MB dealer rep, and she sent me back a spec sheet with performance seats listed. So it remains to be seen if A. I'll even get the car, and B. if I do get the car, if they'll spec it with performance seats .

Ok thanks for posting that. It looks like they got around to revising the order guide to clear up the 555 option ambiguity in the original release. Now it’ll remain to be seen if I actually score one of these final V8 beasts. If not, it’s not the end of the world as I’ll have the next best thing with my ‘21 diamond white, You mention that you have one on order.
From what I was told by my rep, they’re not actually taking C63s orders yet. Did you just get yourself a spot in the allocation cue?
