I think that is one of my least favorite “upgrades to the final edition. They literally stuck plastic 5dollar emblems on the pillars with double sided tape. This isn’t a 1990s v12. It makes me think they should have put “M3” style vents in their place.

No, the badge with pins ends in -708, A0008170708. This other one ends in -608.

The 0608 part is what you need. It has the spring clip fixing that fits the 205. The 0708 part has the two prongs that fit the W177, W206 etc.

Ordered mine from Kunzmann (DE)

As mentioned it is the 0608 part you need. I am in UK. Initally when I enquired he said the part wasn't showing up. I told him what it was and showed him the pic with part number and he came back a few hrs later to say they can order from Germany. Hopefully something similar is available for you guys in US.
