Can someone point me in the direction of the best quality AMG logo hood emblem for the W205? I am looking for the raised OEM quality version. My understanding is that there isn’t an OEM AMG emblem, just the Star emblem?

There is ... at least for the W206 C 63s e-performance, hopefully someone is able to get the part number of that one since you want to go OEM, and if it fits the W205 hood which unlikely it won't.

Yes, you are correct. I saw this emblem in a preview video for the W206. So I’m hoping to get the part number as well.

Hmmm, got an idea do you want to do the honours and can you measure the badge on a W206 C 300 if you happen to come across one at a dealership or your friend or family and see if it matches our W205?

im starting a parts assistance center case asking if the part is available for ordering, my dealer cost is just about $15.. so if they Mercedes has stock for sale ill order one.. i have a C43

lol once Mercedes "releases the part" that means showing availability and actually being able to order it without Mercedes cancelling the order on it.

Trust me its always fun trying to get them to release some parts for me.. These guys are dorks tbh.. Mercedes on the parts side is a pain..

Interesting that it states it fit the C117 CLA (it didn't specify the CLA 45 so for some reason the CLA 250 might fit too?) but not a W205... not even the C 63s....
Even fits the SLK.... so it has absolutely nothing to do with the age of the vehicle, that said the C117 fits despite announcing earlier than the W205, interesting decisions by Mercedes.
