New upgrades but now what do I do?

Hey everyone, so I finally decided to start doing some things to my Amg and with all of your guys’ help I was able to choose what parts. I got some catted dp’s that were recommended and man they sound awesome. I also got an ecu tune that was also recommended but I yet have to see what it really does. I got some coil overs and nice new wrap as well.

With that said, I’d still say I’m somewhat a newbie to this aftermarket life. I have to take my car to get serviced tomorrow, anything I should do before that? I’m pretty sure I should flash my way tune back to stock right?

That would depend if its under warranty or not. If its under warranty then yes, put it back to stock to avoid voiding your warranty. If its no longer under warranty then it doesn't matter if you flash it back, but make sure you have the upgraded file to flash it back when you get it back as they may update to the latest program from Mercedes.

yeah it’s still under warranty, thank you I appreciate it. I see you have a c63 s too, have you done any tunes or anything? I’m still fairly new to this so I would definitely like to learn more.

What I would recommend next would be to go a size wider with your tires. I wouldn't go more than that cause you said you have coilovers so you may get rubbing issues if you're wider. The c63s suffers putting the power to the rear wheels. It cuts the power when the back begins to lose traction, so all that power becomes useless.
For me, I've done the secondary cat delete, EVM, android screen upgrade and a renntech tune is next. Which tune did you go with?

very good point because you are right. My wheels just spin out and I feel like I lose a lot of power during those few seconds. Could you elaborate on the second cat delete? I went and got some 200 cpsi high flow cats installed and big difference in sound I must say. What’s evm? And I was initially gonna go with a Renntech tune but there was this guy I met at a car show and he’s loaded with money and loves working on cars and he was telling me how Renntech is just priced up because of their name. He recommended AMR since that’s what he’s used on all the amgs he’s had. I’ve only had the tune for a few days but I have noticed a difference in speed. Only thing I must say is that I got a burble tune (and yeah I know they’re bad and obnoxious but I just wanted to try it and see how it sounds and then I was gonna change it to a regular stage 2 tune) and personally I don’t notice a big difference. I still gotta play around with it a bit more tho. I tried a 0-60 and boy it felt quick. I wanna take it to a dyno so I can get proper numbers

Curious to see what the dealer says regarding the catted downpipes, please keep us updated. I am also under warranty and was concerned that this would void it. Thanks.

Exhaust valve module. It allows you to keep the exhaust flaps open at all times, which sounds a lot better. There are basically 2 you could get. Renntech or ASR. I bought mine directly from ASR in Germany because it was cheaper and the Renntech module is just a privately labeled ASR for more money.

This would void the warranty though right?

Its a module with a wiring harness clip that can be unplugged in 5 mins when you take in (to be safe) however with the module comes a remote where you can control the module to go back to stock mode and I've sent the car in for service before with the module plugged in but in stock mode and they didn't detect it.

I may be wrong, but I remember some threads about a year ago with the AMG GT's and exhaust valves braking and resinating at strange frequencies, and replacement was not covered under warranty... I know for a fact all extended warranty companies have the exhaust as an exclusion.
