2019 C63 Wagon - how do I find out correct tyre size?

As per the title, would appreciate some advice on this. I see the below in the UK brouchure - this is the factory option wheels my car has - 770. However the car currently has:
245 35 19 front and 265 35 19 rear.
Can I correctly assume that the brochure has a typo and that the front size of 245 40 19 referenced is incorrect? This is what the supplying dealer is telling me is the case.
Quite important for me to know as I am just about to purchase four new tyres and I have a chance to correct now if my current sizing is incorrect.
Interestingly, I have just noticed that the option code: 662 - which looks like the same wheels in black finish, do list the tyre sizes as per what is on my car at the moment. Very confused right now!

Thanks in advance for any input.

The previous owner of my coupe fitted brand new 245/35/19 on the fronts when I bought it on those same rims. The coupe is supposed to have 255/35/19.
The 245 width is not wide enough for the rim and because its sitting narrow under the wheel, there's very little sidewall to offer rim protection and the ride is rough.
Take a look at how your wheels sit and if you're in the midst of changing tires anyway then consider jumping up a size in width to 255/35 on the fronts...

Thanks for the above. I believe the coupe has wider tyres front and rear so the above will not apply to me.

I put 255/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my estate fronts, perfect.

That's interesting. Any pics of how it sits in the arch?

How did you find it vs. the (I think) original 245 / 35?

The ride quality is a touch better, road noise is quieter but that could be because the original Pilot Sport 245/35 were worn out.

Yes I know it could do with a wash but I’ve been very busy and somehow never got the time.

Depending on the model your wagon would either be a 19x9inch rim (which is the same as the coupe fronts) or a 19x8.5inch rim. Either of which I suggest a 255 wide tire.
Just my 2 cents worth.
Just look at the edge of your tire and if you find it's narrower than the edge of the rim, and sitting under then consider a slight upgrade.

The wheels I have are 8.5inch front and 9.5inch rears.
I think I have established that the original size are those which are currently on it: 245/35/19 and 265/35/19.
The current front is a Pirelli with a rim protector, see picure below. It certainly doesn't look too narrow for the wheel, but I think this could partly be the Pirelli protector design which sticks out quite a bit!

In the end I have decided to stick with the factory size tyres and have ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S which I have read great things about all over the internet. It should hopefully be a nice upgrade on the Pirelli front and Falken on the rear, which for some reason the dealer fitted just before I bought the car. They are brand new!

You’ve just made me want to give mine a good clean.

I thought yours looked quite nice and rugged in your picture. Looks great.
Mine was only clean in that picture as I had just got it washed. It didn't look like that for very long at all!

We don't get the wagon here in the USA, but the sedan and the wagon have the same tire size. What's on your car currently is correct. The aspect ratio of 40 is a typo. Those would be slightly too tall.

Thanks, I did not know the wagons were not available in the US. In fact, I thought they were more popular out there!
Anyway, thank you for answering my original question - that gives me some peace of mind.

Heres a good link as well that gives wheel and tire sizes including other specific wheel details for every make, model, spec and year.
