Wait I thought it would be in the engine compartment? The auxiliary battery on the other hand if I recalled correctly is under the passenger glovebox?
Looks about the same as the 2016 C63 S sedan I had ... this is what mine looked like after moving the module that was "behind" the battery (i.e., towards the car's rear) to the right and installing an auxiliary battery (with voltage-sensitive relay and multi-safer) for the parking-mode operation of the dashcams (mine did not have the tirefit kit located as the one in the picture).
