2016 C63s Estate owner here. Lately everytime I turn on my air-con I get an awful smell like vomit coming through the vents. It goes away after about 20secs but my lord, it is awful... could this be a filter or something else that needs looking at / replacing ?
Also, I am also recently getting this odd sound coming from the front top of the dash, near where it meets the windscreen, or so it seems. It sounds a bit like a bubbling noise or even a weird rattle. I cannot hear with the music up or when racing hard on the throttle but it's one of those damn noises that once you hear it you cannot unhear it and my ear automatically goes to it when I start driving... Any ideas or suggetions on what this might be are greatly welcomed. Same for the air-con. Cheers
For the smelly aircon, the first thing to check is the Cabin Air Filter.
When was the last time you changed it?
not sure but the car goes for service next mth so will get them to check. I had a reminder set to ask them but wanted to ask the brains trust here first for ideas. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah when I saw your car at allens it had a funny smell...... sorta like wet socks smell or something i dunno

Hi George,
When (& why) did you sit in my car at Allen's? The air con also only makes this smell for the first 20secs on start up and only started doing this 2-3mths ago and my car has not been to Allen's garage for 8-9mths. Im curious about your reply.
