19” Max Tire Size Question

There seems to be a handful of good threads on how wide a wheel can go on a C63 sedan. With a lot of these threads, some modification or rubbing is involved, or ESP kicks in when turning. There’s also mixed info on whether or not the facelift makes a difference in the wheel size.
Also, on others, the size of the tire is given, but not the wheel size or offset.
So, if you’ve had success with a wider wheel (10” or 10.5”) on 19” wheels, what tire size/ wheel size/ offset are you running? I’m looking to purchase a summer set of 19” wheels and tires and need to know what my limits are without dealing with side affects. From my understanding, a 285 on a 9.5” tire is still going to offer less grip than a 285 or 295 on a 10” or 10.5” wide tire for example.

Thanks in advance!

my PFL c63s on stock 19s fits a 285/35/19 rear and a 255/35/19 front with no rubbing. I am also lowered.

Thank you.
I guess a better question to ask would be if anyone had success without rubbing/ traction control issues while running a 19x10 or 19x 10.5 rear wheel, and if they’re lowered or not, and if so, using what offsets? I’m assuming the ride and traction on a 19 would be better, even if both have a 30/35 sidewall profile?
Or am I mistaken
