AMG steering wheel paddle swap help

AMG steering wheel paddle swap help
Hello MB folks,

Trying to do a paddle shifter swap, need to access the single screw and connection that holds them in place, but they are blocked by the side buttons.

How do I remove the silver trim piece so I can access the paddle shifter connections?

Yes, I just installed these magnetic paddles from JQWerks. I'll write a separate post for review and comparison.
